Non-profit organisation APOPO has trained the African giant pouched rat to sniff out minefields and other explosives in Africa and Asia. In Cambodia, it has partnered with the Cambodian Mine Action Centre to clear hundreds of minefields, and also opened a Visitor’s Centre in Siem Reap.

Visit the centre to see how the rats are trained and how millions of landmines continue to impact Cambodia’s local communities.
