All life, including our own, depends on a totally functional planet to survive and thrive. What is Biodiversity? Simply put, the vast array of plants, animals, and ecosystems. Furthermore the healthy ecosystems that provide us food, clean air and water, stable climate, and medicines.
How does the Wild and Free Foundation do Wildlife Conservation different? we've a collaborative model that works directly with local partners to guard wildlife and their habitats, focused on often overlooked ecosystems and communities. Our flexible model allows us to form an immediate impact in Southern Africa where wildlife, ecosystems and communities are imbalanced. We work directly with local communities, indigenous groups, organizations, and governments to work together with ingenious projects. This is often critical for the long-term persistence of biodiversity and human societies. We specialise in the foremost threatened and sometimes the foremost overlooked fauna and flora.
Very similar to biodiversity itself, our work relies on relationships. We adhere to our founding principle that collaborative, local community solutions make the most important difference. We the Wild and Free Foundation partner with local communities, indigenous groups, organizations, and governments to co-develop and implement solutions to deal with each location’s unique needs. We offer additional support , expertise, and tools for greater impact. We deliver measurable, boots-on-the-ground, solutions.
